Private sellers

• Mobile phone number (OTP verification only)
• Vehicle details you enter: make, model, year, price, mileage, location, description, photos

Dealers

• Business name, contact email, phone number
• Payment confirmation via PayPal (we never store card numbers)
• Stock data you upload

All visitors

• Standard server logs (IP, browser, pages)
• Alert email if you opt in
• Search preferences (stored locally in your browser)

How We Use It

• To verify identity (OTP) and publish listings
• To send price-drop or new-listing alerts you opted into
• To detect fraud and spam
• To improve search relevance

Data Storage

All personal data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (EU data centres) under UK GDPR. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Payments

All payment processing is by PayPal. Hupzo never stores card numbers or banking details.

Your Rights

• Access -- request a copy of data we hold
• Deletion -- request permanent removal
• Rectification -- request corrections
• Object -- opt out of non-essential processing
